NFE assisted Bechtel/PB Team on this Big-Dig mega project that rerouted the Central Artery of Interstate 93, the chief highway through the heart of the city, into the 1.5-mile Thomas P. O’Neill Jr. Tunnel. The project started in 1991 and was completed in 2007 with a total estimated cost of $24 billion. NFE provided limited CEI and CMT services on this project.
